The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to prepare for their Sunday home game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Thursday injury report shows that everyone practiced fully except for linebacker Ryan Shazier (knee) and cornerback Ike Taylor (forearm), both of whom have already been ruled out this week.
After sitting out Wednesday with an illness, wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey returned to practice Thursday. The speedy veteran has played a total of 19 snaps on offense in the Steelers first three games of the season.
After being given maintenance days on Wednesday, defense end Brett Keisel (not injury related), tight end Heath Miller (not injury related) and safety Troy Polamalu (not injury related) all practiced fully Thursday. Expect this to be a common theme as the season progresses.
Also practicing fully Thursday were running back Dri Archer (ankle) and guard Ramon Foster (ankle). Both appear to be on track to play Sunday against the Buccaneers. Archer has missed the last two games while Foster missed the Sunday night game against the Carolina Panthers.
