The Pittsburgh Steelers have finally trimmed their roster down to the league-mandated 75 players as six more players were waived Tuesday afternoon.
Offensive lineman Chris Elkins, running back Tauren Poole, long snapper Luke Ingram, offensive lineman Emmanuel McCray, defensive end Brian Arfelt, and nose tackle Hebron Fangupo have all been waived.
Earlier on Tuesday the team waived nine players as running back Jordan Hall, running back Miguel Maysonet, wide receiver C.J. Goodwin, wide receiver Kashif Moore, tight end Eric Waters, safety Jordan Dangerfield, cornerback Devin Smith, cornerback Lew Toler, and linebacker Vic So’oto were all let go.
The Steelers will play the Carolina Panthers Thursday night in their preseason finale at Heinz Field and they’ll then have to trim their roster down to 53 players by this time next Saturday.
