The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster move late Thursday evening as it has been announced that long snapper Luke Ingram has been signed.
The Steelers needed another long snapper to challenge Bryce Davis after it was announced Thursday afternoon that veteran Greg Warren suffered a meniscus injury during Wednesday’s scrimmage against the Buffalo Bills.
Ingram was with the Steelers last year during the early part of training camp after being signed in April as an undrafted free agent. The Hawaii product didn’t last long, however, as he was waived on August 1st.
The Jacksonville Jaguars claimed Ingram off of waivers, but wound up waiving him just prior to the start of the 2013 regular season.
The @steelers have signed LS Luke Ingram (Hawaii). He will wear #48 & begin practicing immediately. Ingram spent time in last year's camp.
