The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Buffalo Bills Saturday night at Heinz Field and several players will sit out the game with injuries.
According to Burt Lauten, safety Will Allen (hamstring) , cornerback Devin Smith (unknown), cornerback Shaquille Richardson (undisclosed), fullback Will Johnson (hamstring), linebacker Jordan Zumwalt (groin), long snapper Greg Warren (knee), tight end Matt Spaeth (undisclosed) and linebacker Jarvis Jones (groin) will sit out Saturday night.
Not listed is rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier, so the Steelers first-round draft pick should make his NFL debut Saturday night after missing the game last week with a knee bruise.
With Jones out, fourth-year linebacker Chris Carter is expected to start at right outside linebacker for the Steelers.
Sitting out for the Bills Saturday night are CB Leodis McKelvin (hip), TE Tony Moeaki (hamstring), WR Marquise Goodwin (hamstring), G Chris Williams (back), S Jonathan Meeks (neck), LB Ty Powell (undisclosed), K Dustin Hopkins (groin).
