The Pittsburgh Steelers were forced to waive backup offensive lineman David Snow injured Tuesday because of a fractured foot and the Texas product has now reverted back to the teams Reserve/Injured list after clearing waivers.
Snow, who originally signed with the Steelers late last season due to injuries on the offensive line, will reportedly need surgery on his foot. Unless he’s given an injury settlement, he will likely remain on the injured reserve list for quite a while.
Snow will continue to count $570,000 against the Steelers 2014 salary cap as long as he remains on the injured reserve list.
