A Pouncey twin had surgery Monday and thankfully it wasn’t the one that plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey underwent hip surgery Monday and is expected to miss at least three months.

By the sound of things, Pouncey will start Dolphins training camp off on the Active PUP list and will miss the first few weeks of the 2014 season.
With Pouncey sidelined, Schefter reports that the Dolphins offensive line will open the 2014 season with five brand-new opening-day starters. Ouch!
Last year, the Steelers lost starting center Maurkice Pouncey eight plays into the season opener to a serious knee injury. He is now back practicing fully again and received a contract extension just a few weeks ago.
