Pittsburgh Steelers team president Art Rooney II was interviewed Wednesday morning at the Veritix Sports Facilities & Franchises 2014 and Ticketing Symposium that is taking place at the Marriott City Center in Pittsburgh and he might have dropped a hint as to whether or not his team will be the subject matter this year on the HBO training camp documentary, “Hard Knocks“.
Michael Sanserino of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Wednesday on Twitter that when asked about whether or not it was possible that the Steelers would ever take part in Hard Knocks, Rooney said, “It will happen sooner or later.”
Art Rooney II on the possibility of #Steelers appearing on HBO's "Hard Knocks": It will happen. It will happen sooner or later.

Judging by Rooney’s choice of words, the sooner isn’t likely to be this year. In fact, with it now being June, we should find out any day now which team will be surrounded by the HBO cameras this year during training camp and I will be shocked it it’s the Steelers.
Last June 17th is when HBO announced on Twitter that the Cincinnati Bengals would be the subject matter for 2013, so we should have an announcement about 2014 within the next week.
