According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the 2014 NFL schedule will be announced Wednesday night.
ESPN2 will reportedly have a schedule show that will start at 8 p.m. EST to unveil the times and dates of all 256 regular-season games and it will last for two hours.
Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers opened the season at home against the Tennessee Titans. The two teams will meet again this season with the Titans having home field and it would be surprising if this game winds up being the season-opener.
In addition to reporting on the schedule release, Schefter also reported on Tuesday that ESPN will televise a Wild Card playoff game during 2014 season. It will be the first NFL playoff game in company’s 35-year history.
What the football world has been waiting for: NFL schedule will be announced Wednesday night — on ESPN.
