The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed another one of their unrestricted free agents on Friday as tight end Michael Palmer has agreed to a one-year deal.
Palmer, who was claimed off waives by the Steelers from the Seattle Seahawks last year during training camp, played in all 16 games last season. On offense he played 49 snaps and recorded one catch for eight yards. Palmer’s biggest contribution was as a special teams player.
Contract details were not released but the deal is believed to be for the minimum with a reduced cap charge.
