The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to host former New Orleans Saints wide receiver Lance Moore for a free agent visit this week, but their not the only team interested in the Toledo product.
According to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe, the New England Patriots also “checked out” Moore in the past week.
Moore, 30, was released by the Saints several weeks ago after playing nine seasons in the Crescent City.
The Steelers expectedly lost free agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders to the Denver Broncos already this offseason and are now in danger of losing unrestricted free agent wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery to the Carolina Panthers as well.
Cotchery arrived in Charlotte Monday night and his visit is expected to continue on Tuesday.
