Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and current Fox Sports analyst Terry Bradshaw will not take part in the Super Bowl broadcast on Sunday due to the recent passing of his father.
Bradshaw, who will be replaced on the broadcast by Michael Strahan, is back in Louisiana with his family. His father, William Bradshaw passed away at the age of 86 on Thursday after a long illness.
Bradshaw normally is the one to present the Lombardi Trophy to the winning Super Bowl team after the game and that honor will now go to Strahan this year.
Fox released a statement on the passing of Bradshaw’s father via its official Twitter account.
