Not only did former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher have a sideline incident that was highly publicized back in 1997, defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau also had one as well back in 1989.
When LeBeau was the defensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals, he tackled Houston Oilers wide receiver Haywood Jeffires out of bounds during on Monday Night game at the Astrodome.
At the time, LeBeau was a spy 52-years-old and let’s not forget that he was a solid tackling cornerback back in his day for the Detroit Lions.
