The Manning Brothers Can Help The Steelers On Sunday

Sunday is a very important game for the Pittsburgh Steelers as a loss to the Miami Dolphins would pretty much be the final nail in their coffin when it comes to possibly making the playoffs. Assuming the Steelers win, the scoreboard watching can immediately commence following the game.

Below are three games that Steelers fans will have interest in Sunday.

Minnesota Vikings at Baltimore Ravens

At some point, the Steelers will need the Ravens to lose a few games. While it’s not likely to happen Sunday against the Vikings, you can never be too sure. Weather could play a huge role in this game and Vikings running back Adrian Peterson could very well take this one over as a result. While a Ravens loss would be great, it’s not the end of the world if they win as they still have Detroit, New England and Cincinnati left to close out the season. Any given Sunday, right? Go, Matt Cassel, go.

New York Giants at San Diego Chargers

Assuming the Ravens lose two of their last four games, the Chargers will more than likely be the biggest threat to the Steelers for the final playoff spot. A loss Sunday to the Giants would really put the Chargers behind the eight ball with games left against Denver, Oakland and Kansas City. This Eli Manning versus Philip Rivers showdown should be a fun game to watch and hopefully the Giants come out with the win.

Tennessee Titans at Denver Broncos

The Titans, much like the Dolphins, currently sit ahead of the Steelers in the standings, so it’s important that the other Manning brother help out Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon. If the Titans somehow slip past the Broncos and Peyton Manning, they very well could close out the final three weeks undefeated as two of their three remaining games are against Jacksonville and Houston. The Steelers will likely need the Titans to go 2-2 or worse in their final four games, so this is one they really need to lose.
