Yes, the Miami Dolphins win Sunday over the New England Patriots put yet another nail in the playoff chances of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but believe it or not, the Steelers are still mathematically alive heading into the Sunday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
How is that possible? For starters, the Steelers have to win out and the Dolphins have to lose out. On top of that, the Jets must finish at 8-8 with one win coming against the Dolphins in Week 17.
As for the Tennessee Titans, they would have to lose at least one of their final three games. The San Diego Chargers would also have to lose at least one of their final two games. As for the Baltimore Ravens, they need to lose at least two of their final three games and one of those loses must be the to the Bengals in Week 17.
