Just in case you have forgotten, the Pittsburgh Steelers will wear their 1934 throwback uniforms this coming Sunday for their home game against the Detroit Lions.
The Steelers wore the yellow and black striped jerseys last season in the home games against the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Ravens and were 1-1 in those games. They won the game against the Redskins 27 – 12, but lost 13-10 to the Ravens in a game that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger did not play in.
The striped jerseys did not seem to be a hit with the fan base when they were originally showcased last season, but since that time it appears as though many have warmed up to them. Sunday will be the only time this season the Steelers wear them and it will likely be the last time ever.
They should once again create quite a buzz on Sunday.
