The Buffalo Bills Friday injury report is in and it indeed looks like one of their young wide receivers won’t play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Rookie wide receiver Robert Woods (ankle) failed to practice for a third straight day and he is listed as doubtful on the injury report as a result.
Linebacker Manny Lawson (not injury related) was added to the Bills injury report as questionable on Friday after missing practice for personal reasons.
“I spoke to him this morning, I excused him,”said Bills head coach Doug Marrone on Friday. “It’s not injury-related. He’s taking care of some personal issue. I’m going to talk to him this afternoon. … I don’t know much about the situation.”
Practicing fully on Friday and listed as probable are wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (hamstring), quarterback Thaddeus Lewis (ribs), quarterback E.J. Manuel (knee) and defensive tackle Kyle Williams (achilles).
Manuel, who will be wearing a support device on his knee Sunday, will start at quarterback against the Steelers and Goodwin is good to go as well, according to Marrone.
