The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the New York Jets Sunday at MetLife Stadium and below is a best guess as to what the inactive list will look like this week. The official list of inactives will be announced 90 minutes before kickoff.
Landry Jones – No surprises here. Jones remains an inactive for the fifth straight time.
Markus Wheaton – The Steelers rookie wide receiver needed surgery on a pinkie finger that he broke during the loss to the Vikings and thus he has been ruled out for the Jets game. With Wheaton down, Derek Moye will get a helmet.
Hebron Fangupo – The rest of the defensive line is healthy so that means no helmet for Fangupo this week.
Isaac Redman – Redman’s drop on the depth chart combined with the return of Le’Veon Bell to action, makes this an expensive inactive at $1.323 million.
Cody Wallace – Wallace hasn’t dressed for a game this season, so I can’t see this week being any different.
Antwon Blake – With Will Allen now back in the fold, Blake will assuredly remain an inactive this week.
Mike Adams – If Levi Brown dresses, one would think that Adams would not. He’s been demoted and the Steelers only like to dress seven offensive linemen.
