The Pittsburgh Steelers made a minor practice squad move on Wednesday as cornerback Devin Smith was signed and wide receiver Devon Wylie was released.
Wylie was added to the practice squad two weeks ago after rookie wide receiver Markus Wheaton suffered a broken pinky finger, so this is a good sign that the Steelers third-round draft pick will be back practicing this week after missing the last three games.
Smith was with the Steelers during training camp and has already spent some time this season on the practice squad.
