Pittsburgh Steelers rookie linebacker Jarvis Jones will miss the first game of his young NFL career Sunday, as the first-round draft pick has been listed as inactive for the game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Jones, who suffered a concussion last week against the New York Jets, failed to do much in practice this past week and as a result will not play. He will be replaced in the starting lineup by Jason Worilds.
In other inactives news, the Steelers will dress eight offensive linemen for the first time this season as Mike Adams, Cody Wallace and Guy Whimper are all dressed for the game.
In a bit of a surprise, cornerback Curtis Brown was listed as one of the seven inactives for the game.
