The Pittsburgh Steelers have completed their first practice of the week as they prepare to host the Baltimore Ravens this coming Sunday at Heinz Field. The first injury report is out and it includes just a few minor surprises.
Wide receiver Markus Wheaton (finger) has already been ruled out for the game and did not practice on Wednesday as expected. Derek Moye will play once again this week with Wheaton still sidelined.
Linebacker Jarvis Jones (head) did not practice Wednesday and was listed with some sort of head injury.
Defensive end Brett Keisel (abdomen) and linebacker LaMarr Woodley (knee) were both limited on Wednesday. Keisel suffered his injury in the first half of the game Sunday against the New York Jets and was sidelined the entire second half as a result. Tomlin said Tuesday he believes that both Keisel and Woodley, who is dealing with knee discomfort, will be able to practice later in the week and that both should be good to go come Sunday.
Tackle Marcus Gilbert (quad) was limited as was tight end Heath Miller (not injury related). The injury to Gilbert is not expected to be serious.
Linebacker Sean Spence was back practicing for the first time since injuring his knee last preseason. He is not on the injury report as he is not currently on the active roster.
