The New York Jets will host the Pittsburgh Steelers this coming Sunday, but they will likely be without the services of wide receiver Santonio Holmes (hamstring) once again.
The Steelers former first-round draft pick missed practice again Wednesday with a strained hamstring that suffered during the loss to the Tennessee Titans a few weeks ago and the consensus seems to be that he will not be ready to play come Sunday.
Also sitting out Wednesday for the Jets were defensive end Quinton Coples (ankle), wide receiver Clyde Gates (knee), safety Jaiquawn Jarrett (knee), cornerback Dee Milliner (hamstring), running back Mike Goodson (illness), tight end Kellen Winslow (knee) and defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis (not injury related).
Limited for the Jets were offensive lineman Oday Aboushi (knee), running back Chris Ivory (hamstring) and cornerback Darrin Walls (shoulder).
Practicing fully were safety Antonio Allen (finger), guard Willie Colon (knee), cornerback Antonio Cromartie (hip) and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson (shoulder).
