The Pittsburgh Steelers have now wrapped up their Thursday practice and the second injury report of the week has now been released.
Running back Le’Veon Bell (foot), as expected, didn’t practice again on Thursday and he has already been ruled out for the Sunday season opener against the Tennessee Titans.
Limited for a second straight day were fullback Will Johnson (hamstring) and tight end Heath Miller (knee). Like Bell, Miller will also be sidelined Sunday as he continues to rehab his surgically repaired knee.
As for Johnson, the fullback told Jim Wexell of Steel City Insider that there is a possibility that he won’t be able to play Sunday. Johnson injured his hamstring in the preseason finale and is still not one hundred percent.
After being limited on Wednesday, rookie linebacker Jarvis Jones (chest) practiced fully Thursday. Unless he suffers some sort of setback, he will play against the Titans.
