As expected, the Pittsburgh Steelers placed center Maurkice Pouncey, linebacker Larry Foote and running back LaRod Stephens-Howling on their injured reserve list Monday.
Pouncey tore both his ACL and MCL in his right knee early in the Sunday loss to the Tennessee Titans when guard David DeCastro accidentally cut his legs out from underneath him.
Foote tore a bicep late in the game and Stephens-Howling tore an ACL in one of his knees in the second half.
All three players will require surgery over the course of the next week.
As previously reported, the Steelers signed running back Jonathan Dwyer, center Fernando Velasco and kicker Shayne Graham to take their spots on the 53 man roster.
Graham was signed because kicker Shaun Suisham is expected to be sidelined temporarily with a hamstring injury that he suffered Sunday during pre-game warm-ups.
