Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Stevenson Sylvester has left the game against the New York Giants with a right ankle injury and is doubtful to return.
Sylvester was injured when rookie wide receiver Markus Wheaton flew into his legs after the linebacker made a tackle covering a punt in the second quarter.
Sylvester has battled several injuries over the course of his first three seasons in the league. Last season he missed the final three preseason games and the start of the regular season after injuring a knee during practice.
