As expected, cornerback Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Cortez Allen will not play Monday night in the second preseason game against the Washington Redskins.
Allen returned to practice this past week for the first time after missing time following minor knee surgery, but not yet ready to play.
With Allen down again, William Gay will again start on the outside opposite Ike Taylor.
Expected to see extended playing time Monday night are cornerbacks Curtis Brown, Josh Victorian and Isaiah Green. Brown returned to practice last week after missing the first preseason game against the New York Giants with an ankle injury.
