According to Adam Caplan on Twitter, former Arizona Cardinals tackle D\’Anthony Batiste is scheduled to work out for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Batiste, 31, started 10 games for the Cardinals in 2012 at left tackle, but allowed 12 sacks, 7 quarterback hits and 35 hurries on 425 pass plays, according to Pro Football Focus.
Batiste went undrafted in 2004 out of Louisiana-Lafayette and he played in both the AFL2 and CFL for the first few years of his career before finally signing with the Dallas Cowboys in June of 2006.
During his career Batiste has been with the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins and Denver Broncos before finally being signed by the Cardinals late in 2010. He has played in 37 games with 14 career starts.
