According to Jay Glazer on Twitter, the Pittsburgh Steelers believe rookie running back Le\’Veon Bell has Lisfranc injury that they are hoping will not require surgery.
This matches all of the fears that several have had since the Michigan State product was injured Monday night against the Washington Redskins.
Head coach Mike Tomlin announced via a statement on Wednesday that the team was seeking a second opinion on the second-round draft pick following his Tuesday MRI.
Bell will most definitely be sidelined for the remainder of the preseason and we can only hope that he will be able to play at some point this season.
