Season 3, Episode 109 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and I talk about the Wednesday surgery that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had on his right knee that will keep him sidelined until the start of training camp and how the other quarterbacks on the roster will benefit from the extra reps in practice.
Tight end David Paulson is also apparently a little banged up so we discuss his injury as well as the need to put injured cornerback Justin King on injured reserve on Thursday and what that means.
David had a chance to talk to defensive end Brett Keisel and tackle Joe Long last week and he covers what each had to say. With Long apparently receiving reps on both the right and left sides, this leads to us talking about the battle for one of the tackle depth spots on the roster.
Doug Legursky signed with the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday and we talk about all of the former Steelers players currently on the Bills roster right now.
David and I also talk about the Steelers pushing better conditioning this year as well as former defensive end Aaron Smith being in training camp this year as a scouting intern.
