Pittsburgh Steelers second-year tackle Mike Adams is recovering in a local hospital after he was stabbed in a robbery attempt on Pittsburgh\’s South Side, the team said today.
“We are aware of the situation regarding Mike Adams being stabbed earlier this morning,” Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said in a statement the team released via email. “We are in direct communication with both Mike and his family. Mike is expected to make a full recovery.”
Adams has been working at right tackle so far during the offseason. He was the Steelers second-round draft pick in 2012.
