According to Alan Robinson of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the Pittsburgh Steelers have had talks recently with Joel Segal, the agent of guard Ramon Foster.
Robinson reports that the team might make an offer soon to retain the soon-to-be unrestricted free agent. The only problem is that offer might be too late as the Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears and Tennessee Titans apparently have interest in the former undrafted free agent out of Tennessee.
Foster has been one the Steelers most consistent offensive linemen the last two seasons and he started 30 regular season games over that same span of time. He played every offensive snap from Week 2 on last season after being forced to leave the opener with an injured eye.
The Steelers don\’t figure to be very competitive with the other teams that are likely wanting to sign Foster, so in all likelihood he has played his last game in Pittsburgh.
