Report: Antonio Brown Will Indeed Be Out Today

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was holding out hope that he could convince head coach Mike Tomlin that he could go Sunday against the Cleveland Browns after practicing on a limited basis all week, but it isn\’t going to happen.

Aditi Kinkhabwala reports Sunday morning that Brown will be out today with the left high ankle sprain that suffered a few weeks ago against the New York Giants.

This will be the third game in a row that Brown has missed, but signs are good that he might be back next weekend when the Steelers travel to Baltimore to take on the Baltimore Ravens.

With Brown down today it will be the newly signed Plaxico Burress and the inexperienced David Gilreath getting work in the three wide receiver packages as Jerricho Cotchery will also sit this game out with a rib injury.
