Season 3, Episode 25 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd I start of by looking at the overall health of the Pittsburgh Steelers heading into their Sunday game against the Philadelphia Eagles and how much contribution we expect to see out of Troy Polamalu, James Harrison, and Rashard Mendenhall in the game. There hasn\’t been the shuffling of the roster that we both though we might see to start the season and we discuss who might be inactive this week assuming all three of the aforementioned players suit up on Sunday.
We chime in on the candy bar comment made about Eagles cornerback Brandon Boykin by wide receiver Antonio Brown before moving into our complete breakdown of the upcoming game. Will the Steelers be able to run again sty the Eagles this week? I think so and we also talk about how the offensive line shopuld go about protecting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in this game as well. Chris Rainey has yet to contribute much on offense and we discuss why. Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is very dangerous and we talk about he must be the number one priority for the Steelers to contain Sunday by not letting him outside of the tackles. How big of liability is the Eagles offensive line and does this set up for the Steelers defense to get more pressure this week as opposed to the previous three games to start the season? We discuss that as well as other things on the defensive side of the ball that need to happen in order for the Steelers to come away with a victory.
We move on to make our weekly picks against the spread after we pass along the latest rehab report on rookie right guard David DeCastro and we end the show by predicting the score of Steelers Eagles game.
