Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley announced via his Twitter account Monday night that he has a cameo appearance upcoming in a new episode of South Park. The Comedy Central show that was created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker will kick off it\’s 17th season one week from Wednesday.
While we do not know what the plot line of the episode will be, you have to keep in mind that Stone and Parker are fans of the Denver Broncos and the Steelers of course lost to them in the AFC Wild Card game last January and again in week 1 to start the 2012 season. So can we expect a Tim Tebow or Peyton Manning themed episode? We shall see.
Woodley tweeted a picture that has him standing on a football field with Kenny, Cartman, Stan and Kyle and the linebacker even appears to have his Wolverine tattoo on his arm.
This is not the first time a Steelers player has been included in a Southpark episode, though, as quarterback Ben Roethlisberger also had his likeness used in a not-so favorable light a few years ago.
