Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison told the media Friday afternoon that he is a game time decision for the Sunday night opener against the Denver Broncos, according to Andrew Stockey of WTAE-TV on Twitter.
Harrison sat out practice on Thursday after being limited Wednesday and Monday as he is trying to make it back from a minor surgical procedure that he had performed in the middle of August on his left knee that has been causing him problems ever since the first week of OTA sessions. Harrison said late Thursday on Twitter that he was planning on practicing today.
Harrison reported on Twitter Friday that he did not practice, so it looks more than likely that he will be down.
The veteran linebacker missed all of training camp and the preseason on the PUP list and will likely be listed as questionable on the Friday injury report that should be released soon.
