We noted on Monday that some jersey number changes were forthcoming for a few Pittsburgh Steelers players and we now have confirmation of those changes via the Steelers official website.
Undrafted free agent safety Robert Golden will now wear No. 21 after wearing No. 30 throughout the preseason. Undrafted free agent linebacker Adrian Robinson thought that he was beaten to the punch for the No. 57 by linebacker Brandon Johnson, but he wound up with the number after all. Johnson will now wear No. 91, which of course is the number that belonged to the great Aaron Smith for eons.
In addition to those changes, rookie tight end David Paulson will now wear No. 81.
