Wednesday was a travel day for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who will take on the Philadelphia Eagles Thursday night in their first preseason game of the 2012 season.
There are two interviews tonight in this short training camp episode. The first is with Jason Silbers, who was at Latrobe on Tuesday to take in practice. Jason let\’s us know what he observed on Tuesday on both sides of the ball and we talk about the young wide receivers, cornerbacks and even Jerrod Johnson, who got quite a bit of work on Tuesday in preparation for the extended playing time he will see against the Eagles in the second half. The second interview is with fullback Will Johnson, who will play in his first NFL game in less than 24 hours from the time that we talked. We talk about his experience in training camp up until this point and what his involvement has been thus far in the offense. Will we see Will exclusively at fullback, or will he also get snaps as a tight end or even a carry or two in the game? I ask him about that as well as what special team units he will play on in the game.
