Friday was the final Pittsburgh Steelers training camp practice open to the public and the now the process of breaking camp begins. This special edition of The Terrible Podcast will be the last until next year and thanks to news on Friday that running back Rashard Mendenhall and nose tackle Casey Hampton were removed from the PUP list, I certainly have a ton to talk about.
The first part of this podcast I walk through all of the angles as to why Mendenhall may have been removed from the PUP list and tell you my reasoning why it all still does not add up in my head based on everything we have heard all offseason and even today from General Manager Kevin Colbert. If you think I have missed an angle here as it relates to both Mendenhall and how the roster might shake out now, let me know. It certainly was unexpected in my eyes.
After all of the Mendenhall talk, I finally get to several of the emails that I asked for from readers and they include some great questions and talking points. Everything from the leadership of Hines Ward that will be missed to the development of Chris Carter.
