Season 3, Episode 8 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and start by talking about the firing of Pittsburgh Steelers special teams coach Al Everest on Thursday, and after going over stats from the last two seasons and reviewing what has happened thus far in two preseason games, we conclude there is likely more to the story. We recorded this early on Friday and since then Everest has come out to say that he was fired for professional differences.
We move on to talk about a few players that will not travel with the team to Buffalo for the the third preseason game against Saturday night against the Buffalo Bills and discuss how much work running back Isaac Redman nay or may not see in the game. With a Mike Wallace return hopefully right around the corner, David and I ponder if he will play in the final preseason game next week and how much action he might see in the opener against Denver should he be back early next week like the reports suggest.
The rest of the show is centered around some key players and positions that will be worth watching Saturday night and we review some things that defensive participation chart shows us from the game against the Indianapolis Colts. What spots are still up for grabs on the 53 man roster? We have another look.
We close by getting another hello from Honduras from our buddy Carlos, the Ambassador of Steeler Nation there.
