Season 3, Episode 10 of The Terrible Podcast is up and co-host David Todd and start by talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers Thursday night game against the Carolina Panthers, and more specifically, the devastating injury suffered by rookie linebacker Sean Spence, and discuss what effect it has on the roster moving forward. We also discuss the other injuries in the game suffered by Robert Golden, Curtis Brown and possibly Baron Batch in addition.
We move on to cover the new 8 week injured reserve rule in depth and how it benefits the Steelers in regard to injured rookie right guard David DeCastro. The Steelers quarterbacks had a solid preseason and we have a look at some useless stats that were a little bit surprising.
Roster cuts are due later on today, so we talk about what may or may not happen with Charlie Batch and why I think the Steelers won\’t cut him on Friday. We get into more 53 man roster talk before moving on to talk about the play of both Jonathan Dwyer and Chris Rainey in the game. How did Casey Hampton look in his first game back and what does this mean moving forward? We discuss it.
We end the episode by discussing my final 53 man roster prediction.
