The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 13-9 today in Cleveland and will travel to Denver next week to take on the Denver Broncos in one of the two AFC wild card games. Despite the win, the Steelers did not get the help they needed from the Cincinnati Bengals to capture the AFC North as the Bengals lost to the Baltimore Ravens 24-16. The Ravens win means they have won the AFC North and the #2 seed in the AFC. The New England Patriots are the #1 seed after they beat the Buffalo Bills today.
The Broncos won the AFC West despite losing 7-3 to the Kansas City Chiefs today as the Oakland Raiders also lost to the San Diego Chargers 38-26 today. With both of those two teams losing and the New York Jets loss earlier in the day to the Miami Dolphins, the Bengals back into the playoffs as the #6 seed in the AFC. They will travel to take on the Houston Texans next week in the other AFC wild card game.
The Steelers will play at Denver on Sunday, Jan. 8 with kickoff at 4:30 pm EST.
