Season 2, Episode 55 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and have a little shorter show than normal, but do cram quite a bit of talk in the 30 plus minutes. We start with some recent injury updates today on quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and Maurkice Pouncey and how it looks like both are trending towards playing next Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers. We caution that it is still too early to know for certain though if both will or will not play. We talk about several games around the NFL on Sunday and focus in a little on the 49ers loss to the Arizona Cardinals, as that is the next opponent next Monday night. We wonder if this is the real 49ers we kind of expected before the season started and we promise more 49ers game talk later in the week. Both Todd Haley and Tony Sparano were fired on Monday and we hit briefly on those moves.
Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow is once again a hot topic on Monday and a call we received on our hotline gets a rebuttal from both David and I. Thanks to Johnny for the call and for listening to the show as well. We move on to a few key games coming up on the week 15 schedule and it includes the Baltimore Ravens going out west to play the San Diego Chargers. David and I firmly believe this is a game the Ravens could lose.
Before closing out the show I fill David in on the Todd Marinovich bit that was ESPN Saturday night and how he turned down a chance perhaps to play for the Steelers in 1994. We wrap up talking about the practice squad move by the Steelers on Monday.
