The Steelers official pregame release for the Thursday night game against the Cleveland Browns is now up on steelers.com and it tells us that running back Rashard Mendenhall is 43 yards away from passing Merril Hoge (3,115) for the 11th most career rushing yards in Steelers franchise history.
The NFL is reportedly close to signing an eight-year extension of three media-rights deals that should earn it a total of about $3.2 billion a year from its broadcast partners. The current deals with the league\’s cable and broadcast partners expire after the 2013 season. This money will certainly help raise the salary cap when it kicks in.
