Season 2, Episode 41 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I open with our look at the Steelers injured players headed in the game against the Bengals and discuss the status of Emmanuel Sanders, LaMarr Woodley and others. We briefly discuss punter Daniel Sepulveda and his future with the Steelers going forward. We then move on and give our final thoughts on the Sunday night game against the Ravens and talk more about the Steelers and Ravens final offensive possessions and game the winning touchdown. To close out the first part of the podcast we start discussing the upcoming game against the Bengals and what a loss might mean to the Steelers on Sunday. We talk about the hits in the game against the Ravens and cover some of the things Mike Tomlin said during his Tuesday press conference. We will have more in depth talk and preview of the game on the Friday podcast as well. Keep in mind this was all recoded before the fines were announced and before the Wednesday injury report was released.
In part 2 of the podcast we are joined by Bengals beat writer Joe Reedy from the Cincinnati Enquirer and get into some talk about the Bengals game coming up Sunday. We get an early look at their injury situation and ask Reedy all about the state of the Bengals on offense and defense and how rookie quarterback Andy Dalton has performed in the first half of the season. We ask Reedy about the current overall feeling of the Bengals fanbase and if owner Mike Brown is gaining back support. Quite a bit of Bengals talk in this 20 minutes and we thank Joe for clearing time this morning to talk to us.
