Below are the offensive personnel packages, play counts and participation chart for the Steelers week 9 loss against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night. The loss of Hines Ward early in the game coupled with Emmanuel Sanders being inactive meant that Jerricho Cotchery saw his most snaps of the season. The loss of Ward and Arnaz Battle during the game with injuries also meant the Steelers couldn\’t run many 10 personnel group plays with 4 wide receivers. In fact, 40 of the 58 non-penalty plays featured 11 personnel with mostly Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown and Cotchery on the field.
Curiously only 7 non-penalty plays featured 13 personnel and Weslye Saunders only saw the field for less than 10 plays on the night.
