The Steelers wrapped up practice preparations on Friday for their Sunday home game at Heinz Field against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Friday injury report is shaking out pretty much as expected as defensive end Aaron Smith (foot), linebacker James Harrison (eye), guard Chris Kemoeatu (knee), nose tackle Casey Hampton (shoulder), linebacker Jason Worilds (quad), tackle Marcus Gilbert (shoulder) and running back Mewelde Moore (ankle) have all been ruled out on Sunday. Doug Legursky will start in place of Kemoeatu once again at left guard, Lawrence Timmons will start in place of Harrison at right outside linebacker, Ziggy Hood will start at left defensive end with Smith down and Chris Hoke will start at nose tackle again with Hampton out a second straight week. Jonathan Scott will start this week at right tackle and Jonathan Dwyer will once again dress with Moore down. Scott starting means the Steelers will field their 6th different starting offensive line combination this season. Cornerback Cortez Allen (ankle) is probable after working fully on Friday and safety Ryan Clark (quad) is also probable after working fully again.
For the Jaguars on Friday, RB Montell Owens (knee), G Jason Spitz (quad) and LB Clint Session (elbow) have all been ruled out on Friday. CB Derek Cox (groin) is doubtful after being limited a second straight day. T Eugene Monroe (shoulder) and WR Kassim Osgood (hamstring) were both limited for a third straight game and are listed as questionable. DE Aaron Kampman (knee) is probable despite not working on Friday. T Guy Whimper (hip), DT Tyson Alualu (knee), CB Drew Coleman (head), S Courtney Greene (neck), WR Jason Hill (thigh), TE Zach Miller (shoulder) and LB Daryl Smith (head) all practiced fully on Friday and are probable.
