Steelers To Start 6th Different Line Combination This Season Against Jaguars

The Steelers Thursday injury report is out and with it came the news that left guard Chris Kemoeatu has been ruled out again with a knee injury. With rookie right tackle Marcus Gilbert also likely out Sunday against the Jaguars, the Steelers will start their 6th different starting line combination in as many games this season.

Doug Legursky will make his second straight start at left guard in place of Kemoeatu and Jonathan Scott will more than likely start his first game of the season at right tackle. Newly re-signed left tackle Max Starks will once again start and protect the blindside of Ben Roethlisberger, while Ramon Foster will start once again at right guard.

The only Steelers offensive lineman to start every game this season at his normal position has been Maurkice Pouncey at center. Pouncey however was forced out of the game last week against the Titans last week for a few plays with a knee contusion. He has practiced all week and is good to go.

Trai Essex and Jamon Meredith will likely dress once again Sunday as back-ups.
