Steelers Ravens Week 1 Practice Injury Report – Friday

The Steelers wrapped up their final practice of the week in preparation to play the Baltimore Ravens Sunday in Baltimore. On the Friday injury report rookie linebacker Chris Carter (hamstring) once again sat out practice and has been ruled out for Sunday. Wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) also sat out and is listed as doubtful for the game. Cotchery very well might be downgraded to out on Saturday, but it is pretty safe to say he will not play against the Ravens. Rookie tackle Marcus Gilbert (concussion) practiced fully again on Friday and is listed as probable on the injury report. Baring a setback Gilbert should dress for the game and serve as the third tackle.

For the Ravens on Friday, linebacker Jason Phillips (concussion) is listed as questionable, while guard Ben Grubbs (thigh) was added to the injury report as probable, Grubbs did not practice.
