Season 2, Episode 5 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I open with, for the last time we promise, with a discussion of the final ratification of the CBA expected to come on Thursday afternoon. The Steelers are so certain this going to happen that they have moved practice from its scheduled start time of 2:55 to 4:00 pm. We then discuss Rule 51 and the salary cap and debunk the idea that the Steelers are $7-10 million over the cap. Well they actually are so-to-speak, but we explain why it\’s no big deal.
Finally we talk football–again, kind of. We talk first about the guys that aren\’t playing football including Emmanuel Sanders and how his injury impacts Antonio Brown, Limas Sweed and Arnaz Battle. Will Max Starks or Flozell Adams be resigned? We discuss it and what would happen if one of them do return. Did the NFL do the right thing in not fining or suspending James Harrison? Get our thoughts on this and much more.
