Season 2, Episode 7 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I continue taking a hard look at how the Steelers roster is going to shake out and this time we finally have some game tape to analyze.
In Part 1 we open by looking at the injury news and the signing Jericho Cothchery. As you might expect based on our recent discussions, we don\’t really agree on how necessary of a signing this was. You can let us know whose side you come down on. After discussing the injuries of Baron Batch, Ike Taylor and some of the young guys, we get into the good stuff. Roster battles. In today\’s episode we again discuss wide receiver. Where, if at all, do Arnaz Battle, Tyler Grisham, Limas Sweed and all the UFAs fit in? Next up O Line. Tony Hills is the surprise of camp in our minds–a guy we thought had no chance to make the squad. What happens if he does, who is at risk? After that, D Line. More of the same. Is Chris Hoke safe? Listen in and find out about our take on that and the reprieve for Jonathan Dwyer.
In Part 2 we talk with UFA NT Anthony Gray of Southern Mississippi. Anthony was in his dorm room in Latrobe during another rainstorm so the audio for this one is not very clear. Our apologies. Some good stuff though on the transition to the big leagues, learning Lebeau\’s schemes, the rookie talent show and seeing and playing in his first NFL game at the same time. We appreciate Anthony taking the time.
