Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said in his post game press conference following the 24-14 win over the Eagles that he liked what saw tonight and that they got better in some areas. As far as injuries go, tackles Jonathan Scott (knee) and Marcus Gilbert (knee) both hyper-extended their knees and Tomlin thought Scott would be fine. No word on Gilbert. Isaac Redman (ankle) suffered an ankle injury, but returned and they shut Jerricho Cotchery (hamstring) down after his hamstring tightened up on him. Tomlin was asked about Tony Hills play tonight and he said he liked his energy of Hills, but that he will reserve judgement until he looks at the tape. Kicker Shaun Suisham indeed had an appendectomy this week and it will be a matter of time until he is back.
